Adventure Without Limits: Breaking Barriers Through Sports
Get ready to move, compete, and have fun!
The 80th Annual State Convention is excited to welcome Envision Blind Sports to our convention.
For over 20 years, Envision Blind Sports has provided accessible sports and physical activity opportunities for individuals who are blind or visually impaired, helping participants build lifelong wellness, confidence, independence, and community.
Come discover a wide range of adaptive sports, including goalball, soccer, tennis, water sports, downhill skiing, wrestling, judo, running and more!
Join us on Thursday, November 5, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Tradewinds Room for an interactive afternoon of sports and fitness. You will be able to try activities, ask questions, meet members of the organization, and learn how to get involved in adaptive sports.
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for movement, and come ready to participate!
To participate, please email Shawn Martin at smartin494@roadrunner.com or Aundra Stover at astover@gmail.com with your name and request to be added to the session sign-up list.
Envision Blind Sports will also be a convention vendor, so be sure to visit their booth to learn more, connect with their team, and discover even more ways to get active.
Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the excitement of adaptive sports. We look forward to seeing you for an afternoon filled with movement, competition, sportsmanship, and fun!
